What you’ll do- Deliver in-person, evidence-based therapy from our Coquitlam office using solution-focused, brief and longer-term modalities tailored to each client's unique needs
- Support clients through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Total Mental Health (TMH) programs, addressing complex presentations including mental health disorders, addictions, relationship concerns and workplace stress
- Apply strength-based, client-centered approaches that honor diverse backgrounds and empower individuals to achieve meaningful change
- Maintain clinical autonomy while collaborating with a Regional Clinical Supervisor who supports your professional development
- Engage in ongoing clinical consultation, peer learning and access to continuing education opportunities
- Utilize streamlined digital documentation systems that let you focus on what matters most—your clients
Required:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field
- Minimum five years of post-master's direct clinical experience with diverse populations and presenting concerns
- Current registration in good standing with BCACC or BCCSW or CCC
- Strong clinical competency in solution-focused therapy, brief interventions and longer-term therapeutic modalities
- Ability to establish therapeutic rapport quickly and work effectively with clients from diverse cultural, social and economic backgrounds
- Excellent clinical judgment, self-direction and comfort working independently in a high-volume practice setting
- Proficiency with electronic health records and digital clinical tools
- Commitment to evidence-informed practice, ethical standards and continuous professional development
- Clinical experience with substance use disorders and addiction counseling
- Cultural competency and experience working with Indigenous populations and communities
- Previous experience in EAP, workplace mental health or integrated care settings
- Familiarity with Coquitlam's community resources and service networks
- Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, trauma-informed care)
