Your Role
As an Account Manager I/II, you will demonstrate excellence in customer service through solid communication and interpersonal skills, engage face‑to‑face with our membership, and provide best financial advice to help members achieve their goals. You will build trust, ask exploratory questions, collaborate with members, and drive loyalty and business growth for the branch.
- Providing comprehensive, financial and relationship‑based advice to grow and maintain member portfolios
- Identifying and assessing member needs to provide appropriate products and services, including signature lending, secured lending, mortgages, term deposits, and the like
- Recognizing and making appropriate referrals to Vancity Specialized Teams such as Sustainable Wealth Management, Wealth Protection, Business Banking, and others
- Meeting targets as defined by branch objectives that contribute to profitability for the branch and Vancity
- Applying branch service standards, policies, procedures, and controls to meet compliance requirements and mitigate risk
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (at a minimum)
- Completion of Financial Planning Coursework – Fundamentals of Personal Financial Planning or Financial Planning 1 and the CUIC 210 (at a minimum)
- Account Manager I – One year of member service experience in the financial industry
- Account Manager II – Minimum of 2 years in an Account Manager role, completion of additional CFP core curriculum courses, and investment coursework (Investment Funds in Canada, Canadian Investment Funds Course, or Canadian Securities Course)
- Financial Industry Experience – 3 years of member service experience in the financial industry (Account Manager II)
Extra Skills That Set You Apart
Banking and/or call center experience; lending experience.

What You’ll Earn
This role offers a salary range of $32.42 to $36.11 per hour for an AM I and $36.68 to $40.85 per hour for an AM II. Base pay may vary and you may be eligible for our annual incentive program.
