Middle School Teacher; Grade 6-8 – FTE Temporary position; Pacific Academy

Pacific Academy is inviting applications from qualified individuals for a full-time, temporary position as a Middle School Teacher. This position will commence in August 2026 and continue through to June 30, 2027.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates should:

• Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate
• Possess an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education
• Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith
• Be fluent in oral and written English
• Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively, and be willing to cooperate in the planning and implementation of project based units with the grade team
• Have experience or willingness to participate in outdoor education planning and trips (i.e. Hiking, canoeing, snowshoeing)
• Teaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to, grade level core subjects (Faith and Learning, Literacy, Numeracy, Science, Social Studies and Outdoor Education)
