Total Sanitation Services is a route-based provider of portable sanitation rental equipment and related services. The Total Sanitation Services family of brands now has strategically located branches in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Oregon, and Texas. Aboutthe Role
A little bit customer service call center, a little bit inside sales, and a whole lot of commitment to providing excellent service to existing and prospective customers. This role is perfect for someone with about 2 years of experience in an inbound/outbound call center environment, who thrives on making a sale, and doesn’t take it personally when customers are upset or prospects say no.
Our products are portable washroom facilities, washroom trailers, septic holding tanks, roll‑off waste containers and various add‑on items. So yeah, probably not what you’ve sold and supported before.
Responsibilities- Work directly with customers via telephone (incoming & outgoing calls), and email to describe products and/or services in order to persuade potential and current customers to purchase new products and/or services.
- Educate customers on product offerings and services.
- Follow up with customer via telephone or email following initial sales contact.
- Identify customer issues and provide appropriate solutions via upselling of additional products and/or services and obtain customer commitment/signoff.
- Meet departmental sales goals consistently.
- Complete continuous product education to improve Customer Experience.
- Maintain accurate daily record of sales in Hub Spot.
- Complete outgoing quotes/bids in a timely manner.
- Respond to a variety of customer requests, special instructions and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues – maintain detailed notes of all customer communication within Hub Spot.
- Develop and build customer relationships while maintaining a high standard of customer service to the region/area.
- 2 – 3 years of experience in inside or outside sales roles; post‑secondary education in related field considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint.
- Service Core and Hub Spot experience is an asset.
- Problem‑solving skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
- Typing speed of 50 WPM or better.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and proactive in problem‑solving.
- Ability to navigate within a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment.
- Ability to operate with a sense of urgency to meet timelines.
Job Type: Full‑time
Work Location: Fully Onsite
Pay: $47,000 – $52,000
