Job DescriptionAuto Zone’s store teams serve as the frontline of WOW! customer service, ensuring customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain a well‑stocked inventory, assist customers with product selection, and provide expert advice to enhance the shopping experience. They play a vital role in driving sales, maintaining store operations, and fostering a positive, knowledgeable retail environment.
Responsibilities- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment. Support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper cash handling procedures, loss prevention policies ensuring proper financial management. Keep store operations running smoothly.
- Utilize structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Follow company safety policies and use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to maintain a secure work environment.
- Stay up-to-date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through Auto Zone systems. Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
- Minimum Age Requirement:
Must be at least 18 years old. - Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
- Full‑time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- ASE Certification (preferred).
