Seasonal Registered Nurse NICU Level IV

Description

Program runs from September 21, 2025 to April 4, 2026.

Base rate: $62/hr.

Seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period, may be asked to float within close geography, four (4) weekend shifts are required per 4‑week schedule period, two (2) holiday shifts during the 32‑week period, and are PRN status employees subject to first call‑off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital.

Program Requirements

Job Summary And Qualifications

Our Level IV NICU RNs raise the bar by providing clinical expertise and the highest quality care in the most compassionate way in our 108‑bed NICU. What You Will Do In This Role
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care.
  • Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
  • Supervise non‑licensed nursing staff within the RN scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.
  • Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
What Qualifications You Will Need
  • ADN/BSN required with 12‑month enrollment and 24‑month completion (Magnet Hospital).
  • Texas State RN license or compact license accepted.
  • One (1) year recent Level III or IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital.
  • STABLE certification obtained within 18 months of employment start date.
  • Neonate Resuscitate certification obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor, obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
