Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Full‑time | On‑site | Facilities & Engineering | Permanent Night Shift
This position is for Night shift (including overtime/working holidays (double time if falls on your shift). There should be a clear understanding that this is not a stepping stone to a Day Position. This is a Night position and should be considered permanently as such. Rarely do Day positions arise. We’d like someone who has worked this shift previously and excels in it.
Our Coppell manufacturing site is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled, safety‑minded Maintenance Mechanic to help keep our equipment, utilities, and facility systems running you enjoy hands‑on problem‑solving in a fast‑paced, regulated environment, this is an outstanding chance to create an impact.
What You’ll Do- Perform routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance on equipment and utilities
- Install, repair, and maintain systems supporting API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) production
- Maintain equipment files and spare‑parts inventory
- Document work through maintenance orders and change controls
- Support safe operations including lockout/tagout and confined‑space entry
- Troubleshoot and respond quickly to production needs
- High school diploma / GED
- 3+ years as a mechanic or operator in pharmaceutical or similar cGMP manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of and experience working in facilities, utilities, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and implement technical drawings and (P&IDs, electrical/wiring diagrams, specs)
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, crawling, twisting, kneeling, climbing ladders and walking on roofs, etc.)
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in areas such as agitator, reactor, heat transfer systems, pressure vessel
- Associate’s degree:
Mechatronics and related fields - Journeyman License (Electrical, HVAC, Pipefitter, etc.) or certifications/training certificates related to industrial systems (HVAC, chillers, compressors, water purification system, hydraulic and pneumatic systems)
A collaborative team across Quality, Operations, and external equipment vendors to ensure safe, efficient production.
