- Process Documentation & Standardization:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including standard work instructions, assembly instructions, workmanship standards, and process flowcharts. Maintain and update SAP Bills of Materials (BOMs) and related work instructions. - Process Analysis & Improvement:
Analyze existing production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement solutions to optimize cycle times, reduce waste, and enhance quality. - Data Analysis & Monitoring:
Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement. Utilize statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor process performance. - Process Validation & Implementation:
Validate new or modified processes to ensure they meet quality and performance requirements. Support the implementation of process changes on the production floor. - Lean Implementation & Training:
Implement LEAN practices into daily operations, including tracking KPIs, facilitating Kaizen Events, utilizing A3 problem-solving, implementing 5S, and promoting One Piece Flow. Develop and deliver training to staff on new and existing processes, maintaining accurate training documentation. - Cost Optimization:
Analyze production costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenses through process improvements and efficient resource utilization. - Reporting & Compliance:
Create reports, presentations, and demonstrations to support process improvements and change management initiatives. Ensure all manufacturing procedures adhere to safety and environmental regulations and champion company standards and procedures.
