Field Computer Technician

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Computer Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Field Computer Technician, you will be an essential part of the support department, providing critical technical assistance and ensuring seamless technology operations across various locations. Job Title: Field Computer Technician

Location: Coppell, TX (On-site)

Shift: 3PM - 12AM (Afternoon - Midnight) (Mon to Fri)

What's the Job?

• Provide support activities in designated areas, including equipment exchange and inventory control.
• Perform software installations, program updates, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Assist users in resolving computer-related problems, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Travel locally using personal vehicle to support UPS technology infrastructure at various locations.
• Train users on supported hardware and software, fostering a better understanding of technology from both user and technical perspectives.

What's Needed?

• Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field;
  Bachelor's degree preferred.
• A+ certification required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Access, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize daily tasks effectively.
