**** Airgas is seeking an Information Technology Support Specialist to maintain a variety of technology systems and equipment in Coppell, TX. This role is crucial for providing second and third-tier suppot to rend-users and assisting tier one technicians within a Help Desk environment. The specialist will deliver immediate solutions, provide user feedback, and collaborate with IT staff to address recurring technology issues.
* Technical Support & Maintenance:
Install, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of computer hardware (PCs, Thin Clients, RF Devices, etc.) and software, including resolving hardware and software conflicts.
* End-User Training & Consultation:
Instruct and provide technical assistance and training to end-users on computer equipment, operating systems, and approved applications.
* Infrastructure & Peripherals:
Provide technical support on LAN equipment (requiring engagement with Network/Telecom teams) and support shared network devices like printers, copiers, and scanners.
* Operational Excellence**:
** Maintain all support requests and work orders in the helpdesk ticketing system and provide technical support and consultation for various IT projects and initiatives.## ##
* Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent work experience; minimum of 2 years working with SAP, 1 year in a Technology support role, and 1 year working with Google G-Suite.
* Strong experience and working knowledge of current Windows Operating Systems and experience supporting a Citrix thin client environment.
* Must possess excellent personal computer and customer service skills, along with strong problem-solving, change management, and both written and oral communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
* At least 1 year of experience supporting RF technology is highly preferred.
