Position: AI & People Analytics Solutions Lead

We’re looking for bold, entrepreneurial talent ready to help build something extraordinary — and reshape the future of building products distribution.

QXO is a publicly traded company founded by Brad Jacobs with the goal of building the market‑leading company in the building products distribution industry. On April 30, 2025, QXO completed its first acquisition:
Beacon Building Products, a leading distributor in the sector.

We are building a customer‑focused, tech‑enabled, and innovation‑driven business that will scale rapidly through accretive M&A, organic growth, and greenfield expansion. Our strategy is rooted in delivering exceptional customer experiences, improving operational efficiency, and leveraging data, digital tools, and AI to modernize a historically under‑digitized industry.

What you’ll do:

Role Overview

The AI & People Analytics Solutions Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping QXO’s next‑generation HR analytics ecosystem.

This role owns the data, technology, and AI infrastructure powering People Analytics, including Oracle Fusion Analytics, Oracle AI Agent, and Big Query, and ensures that HR leaders can access accurate, real‑time, and actionable insights.

This is a highly collaborative, hands‑on position that bridges HR, Technology, and Analytics Strategy. You’ll design the systems and automations that transform raw HR data into predictive intelligence, streamline reporting, and enable QXO’s AI‑driven decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities People Data Architecture & Integration
  • Design, configure, and maintain the data foundation for People Analytics using Oracle Fusion Analytics and Big Query.
  • Integrate data from HR, Payroll, Recruiting, and Learning systems (UKG, ADP, iCIMS, Cornerstone) into a unified analytics environment.
  • Partner with HRIS and IT to ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance across all HR systems.
  • Build scalable data pipelines and automations that power dashboards, models, and AI tools.
AI & Analytics Platform Enablement
  • Configure and manage Oracle’s AI Agent and Fusion Analytics tools to deliver conversational insights and predictive reporting.
  • Develop and deploy AI‑driven automations such as summarization, alerts, and decision support features.
  • Collaborate with the People Analytics team to surface key metrics and models (turnover, hiring, tenure, cost of attrition) within Oracle dashboards.
Data Governance & Security
  • Serve as a data owner and steward for all HR data within the analytics ecosystem.
  • Partner with the People Data Governance Council to establish guardrails for data entry, access, and validation.
  • Define and monitor data lineage, validation processes, and data‑quality KPIs.
  • Ensure all analytics activities comply with QXO’s data privacy, security, and ethical AI standards.
Collaboration & Business Partnership
  • Act as the bridge between HR, IT, and Finance, translating business needs into analytics and AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with Oracle and external partners to optimize system configuration and ensure adoption of emerging AI capabilities.
  • Provide hands‑on support to HR and business leaders to enable self‑service analytics through Oracle dashboards and AI tools.
  • Partner with the Director, People Analytics & AI Strategy to scale the analytics roadmap and deliver measurable business impact.
What you’ll bring:
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field;
    Master’s preferred.
  • 5–8 years of experience in data analytics, HR systems, or people data platforms (preferably within an enterprise HR environment).
  • Experience implementing or managing Oracle Fusion Analytics, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), or Oracle AI Agent strongly preferred.
  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills; familiarity with Big Query, Python, or similar analytics tools a plus.
  • Understanding of HR data domains (headcount, turnover, comp, recruiting, learning).
  • Demonstrated success building scalable analytics or automation solutions that integrate multiple systems.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills — comfortable working across HR, Finance, and IT.
  • Curiosity and passion for applying AI and automation to improve HR decision‑making and efficiency.
What you’ll earn
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • PTO, company holidays, and parental leave
  • Paid training and certifications
  • Legal assistance and identity protection
  • Pet insurance
  • Employee assistance program (EAP)
