Responsibilities
- Contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Develop and maintain detailed work papers and supporting schedules for external reporting and audit purposes
- Support the development, documentation, and testing of internal controls over financial reporting
- Maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
- Perform analysis on complex accounting matters such as accruals, estimates, and trends, and provide recommendations as needed
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries
- Manage assigned balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Prepare roll-forward schedules for consolidated accounts including fixed assets, intangibles, receivables, payables, and debt
- Partner with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Take on additional projects and responsibilities to support evolving business needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited institution
- CPA certification strongly preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a corporate accounting environment
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas); experience with data visualization or reporting tools is a plus
- Experience working with cloud-based ERP systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly document processes and findings
- High degree of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information
- Comfortable using standard office technology and collaboration tools
- Ability to work fully on-site with occasional travel as required
