Manager - Investor Reporting (On-site) – Newrez
Apply online to join Newrez’s Investor Reporting team. This role is based on‑site and requires a strong background in mortgage servicing and investor reporting.
Responsibilities- Supervise the preparation of monthly investor reports and remittances, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Balance complex trades based on various cutoff dates and resolve coding issues by coordinating with management to update policies and procedures.
- Teach reporting skills and research methods to the team, continually improving performance and exploring automation opportunities.
- Partner with Investor Accounting and internal departments to ensure investor records are correctly reflected in reporting and the system of record.
- Research and resolve monthly reconciliation outages promptly and correctly.
- Collaborate with the Investor Control team to provide accurate information for internal and external audits.
- Confirm reports and wire requests are sent on schedule within the monthly reporting cycle.
- Review reports for formatting issues, month‑over‑month consistency, contract billing agreements, full balance roll‑forwards, and large transaction investigations.
- Coordinate with department management to address issues and remediate recurring process problems.
- Develop and enhance operational procedures.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
- 6–8 years of Mortgage Servicing experience, including 3+ years in Investor Reporting (required).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
- Proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint.
- SQL or other database reporting experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of Servicing Director responsibilities (plus).
- Strong relationship‑building, quick learning, flexibility, and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior management and other business units.
- Understanding of operational risks and related controls.
- Familiarity with RegAB and USAP Guidelines.
