Manager​/Sr. Project Manager, Customer System Engineering Projects - Coppell, TX

Position

Dynamic Technical Manager / Project Manager at Rohde & Schwarz – Coppell, TX (remote, commuting)

• Manage the PM organization: small team of Project Managers for a growing and diverse System Engineering team delivering customer‑facing system engineering projects.
• Project Management execution: actively project manage planning and execution of large complex System Engineering projects to meet customer and internal stakeholder requirements and expectations.
• Grow the PM organization: develop and expand the Project Management organization for support of customer projects, profitability, processes, resource management, risk, planning, strategic growth and development.
• Work collaboratively with across the organization – sales, system architecture and engineering, design, mechanical engineering, production, order management, procurement and contracts.
• Develop presentations and reporting – project status reporting.
• Support new sales proposals and quotations – Statements of Work, risk analysis, SOW task estimates, etc.
• Domestic and/or overseas travel as required.

• U.S. citizenship required.
• PMP certification required.
• BA/BS in Engineering or equivalent technical degree required.
• Minimum 15 years of customer‑fronting project management for System Engineering projects.
• Minimum 5 years of people management experience.
• Experience with government project execution is a plus.
• High‑level understanding of Test and Measurement, EMC/OTA or RF projects is a plus.
• Exceptional internal and external customer management and customer service skills.
• Ability to create well‑organized, clear presentations of information (email, Word, PowerPoint, dashboards).

$118,000 – $158,000 total compensation. Includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. Individual pay within the range is determined by location, education, training, work history, sales incentive structure, and job‑related skills.
