Position: CE- SEASONAL CAMP COUNSELOR (WWTPC)

Overview

Turn your love of tennis into an unforgettable summer. Join the Wagon Wheel Tennis and Pickleball Center as a Seasonal Camp Counselor this summer and help create a fun, safe, and engaging camp experience for young athletes. You’ll lead tennis- and pickleball-based activities, guide pre-planned curriculum, support daily camp operations, and build positive connections with campers and families. This role is perfect for energetic team players who enjoy working with youth, staying active, and making a meaningful impact all summer long.

Schedule Commitment

This position is a summer only role, working a Monday - Friday schedule, averaging 20-30 hours a week.

Pay Plan

Seasonal Camp Counselors are non-exempt, non-benefitted, GAP positions with an hourly rate of $15.00.

Candidate Engagement Plan

We are actively accepting applications for our 2026 Summer Season from May-September. Our hiring team will complete weekly application material reviews and connect with qualified candidates on the next steps of our hiring process between January 32-March 29, or until filled. Our hiring process includes an in-person or virtual interview. Our hiring teams will try to connect via email, phone, and/or text.

Experience
  • 16+ Years of age or older
  • 1 year of high school tennis playing experience
  • Certification of CPR/FA is preferred; it will be required upon hire for continued employment.
  • Completion of training and orientation is required for continuing employment.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Knowledge of City and Departmental standards, policies, and procedures, including Youth Program Standards of Care.
  • Possesses a passion for service and working with youth of all ages.
  • Ability and willingness to respect the direction of leadership and follow instructions.
