Senior Software Engineer

• Participate in roadmap definition and collaborate with senior product and engineering leaders
• Evaluate and shape strategic technology direction and choices
• Provide recommendations to scrum team members regarding code structure and implementation approaches
• Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to understand software requirements
• Maintain automated build steps and continuous integration systems

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field
• 10+ years of experience in software/data engineering
• 5+ years of experience in a thought leadership role
• Advanced knowledge of Apache Spark, Python, Scala, and Databricks
• Experience with cloud environments, including Azure, GCP, or AWS

• Experience working with clinical data and understanding the full life cycle of claims
• Familiarity with Epic, FHIR, and HL7 standards
• Knowledge of web services standards such as XML, XSD, SOAP, JSON, and REST
• Agile development experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly
