• Build and run experiments to enhance the growth of retail products
• Design scalable systems to address novel problems using modern cloud technology
• Develop a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and leadership to create a quarterly roadmap
• Write high‑quality, well‑tested code to meet customer needs

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering
• Proven experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services
• Ability to compose a service‑oriented architecture
• Strong coding skills with a focus on writing high‑quality, well‑tested code
• Passion for building an open financial system that connects the world

• Experience launching new products from inception to completion
• Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks
• Knowledge of blockchain technology (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum)
• Experience with programming languages and tools such as Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, Mongo
  
  DB, or DynamoDB
• Background in building fintech or highly reliable and secure systems
