- Build, develop, and maintain HPC-quantum libraries and APIs in C++ and Python, focusing on tensor network-based algorithms
- Translate innovative quantum research concepts into production‑ready software for NVIDIA’s quantum‑HPC ecosystem
- Take ownership of new functionality from concept to productization, including design, implementation, testing, and documentation
- Drive improvements in library quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability through modern software engineering practices
- Collaborate with product management, architects, and partners to understand user workflows and contribute to technical roadmaps
- Ph.D. in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- Strong proficiency with C++ and/or Python, including GPU‑accelerated and parallel programming
- Solid background in numerical linear algebra and its application in tensor network algorithms
- Proven experience in quantum simulation techniques and ownership of large‑scale projects
- Proficiency with quantum algorithms and quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Penny Lane, or Cirq
- Experience in Quantum Error Correction and noise‑aware simulation methods
- Skills in analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing software for CPU and GPU architectures
