• 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on performant, large-scale distributed systems
• Familiarity with writing highly concurrent systems and a strong intuition for REST API design
• Proven experience working on large projects with long-term impact on a single system or team
• Excellent judgment on task prioritization and a strong technical grasp
• Ability to mentor junior developers and lead technical initiatives

• Experience with rapid growth in a company from startup to mid-size
• Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks
• Knowledge of blockchain technology (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum)
• Experience in decomposing a large monolith into microservices
• Previous work with technologies such as Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, Mongo
