At Degreed, we’re on a journey to modernize and scale our platform—and we’re looking for a Senior Azure Engineer/Architect who thrives in Azure environments and brings hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD and Terraform
. This is a high‑impact role where you’ll help lead key initiatives to improve reliability, performance, and developer experience as we continue migrating toward container‑based services.

• Lead and contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform
  .
• Help define and improve our cloud infrastructure on Azure
  .
• Work closely with engineering teams to streamline deployments and build robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Support our shift toward containerization (e.g.
  Kubernetes
  ).
• Collaborate with teams across the business to support growth, scalability, and automation.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to support uptime and stability.

• Hands‑on experience in software engineering
  , including coding and technical problem‑solving
• Strong experience with Azure
  cloud infrastructure in a production environment.
• Solid knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Experience with containerization (
  Docker/Kubernetes
  ) and CI/CD tools.
• Extensive hands‑on knowledge of Kubernetes and its ecosystem
• Expertise with the latest CI/CD tools such as GHA, Azure Devops, ArgoCD, FluxCD etc.
• Well‑versed in the principles of cloud security, with a practical mindset toward secure infrastructure design.
• Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously with distributed teams.
• A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in Azure Architecture
  , Dev Ops/SRE or similar roles.

We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The total pay range for this role is $170,000 - $200,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
