- Experience in large‑scale, distributed systems design and development
- Solid understanding of system software design, computer architecture, and distributed systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Background in distributed storage systems, including file systems or No
SQL storage - Experience in performance tuning and identifying performance bottlenecks
- Familiarity with the Apache Big Data ecosystem and over 3 years of experience in systems software
- Recognized contributions to open‑source projects
- Experience with tools such as Hive, Pig, Map Reduce, and HBase
