What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Generate qualified pipeline across designated Federal agencies through targeted outbound prospecting
  • Execute account-based strategies tailored to the Federal government's unique procurement cycles
  • Collaborate closely with Federal Account Executives on agency strategy and territory planning
  • Conduct research to understand agency missions, compliance requirements, and organizational structures
  • Lead initial conversations with senior government officials to uncover mission challenges and strategic fits
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum of 2 years in an SDR/BDR or inside sales role with a focus on Federal/Public Sector prospecting
  • Proven experience navigating complex government hierarchies and procurement timelines
  • Demonstrated success in generating pipeline through outbound efforts in the Federal space
  • Familiarity with Federal mandates, including Zero Trust architecture and cybersecurity executive orders
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence when engaging with senior government officials
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience working with Federal Account Executives and understanding the role of System Integrators
  • Active security clearance is a significant plus
  • Ability to map key program stakeholders within complex government organizations
  • Resilient mindset, demonstrating patience and persistence in navigating long sales cycles
