Territory Development Manager – Unilever Food Solutions
Location: Remote – Jacksonville, FL
Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) is the €3bn+ food service division of Unilever, leading dynamic food service markets across 72 countries. UFS accelerates digital transformation to fuel growth through data‑driven, technology‑enabled Go‑to‑Market (GtM) capabilities, aiming to reach 3 million operators by 2030 via an online & offline contact strategy.
Pay Range: $69,360 to $104,040

As a Territory Development Manager, you will drive sustainable business growth by engaging Operators, Chains, and Trade Partners. You will implement a multi‑touchpoint digital ecosystem to grow new customers (reach) and existing customers (penetration). You will use data and CRM tools to plan and execute sales calls, establish partnership, and increase market share in your territory.
Demand CreationEngage Local Chain Accounts and Operator Customers, accountable for delivering business targets:
Turnover, Reach & Penetration, Digital Engagement, Demos, Sampling, fully‑profiled operators, and promotional events.
Execute full Key Account Management: CBP, Win & Retain funnel, Contact Matrix, 20% online calls & 80% face‑to‑face. Deliver virtual culinary consultation to targeted operators.
Key Activities- Convert Business Insights into Activation Solution Selling.
- Create Concept Solution Selling from Market Trends.
- Guide customers to the right solutions.
- Engage key decision makers and build relationships.
- Prepare visits, recommend solutions, and use the CRM Salesforce system to manage workflow and market funnel.
- Conduct face‑to‑face and virtual sampling, ideation, cooking demos using culinary knowledge to secure new opportunities and increase volume.
- Follow up on previous calls to progress opportunities to close.
- Secure and coordinate monthly customer orders to ensure growth targets are met.
- Meet with Distributors/Trade Partners to expand assortment and source leads.
- Build and nurture relationships with local Distributor Sales Rep’s (DSRs).
- Implement Contact Matrix for Key Trade customers with a squad approach where possible.
- Engage trade customers for Secondary Sales Data (SSD).
- Implement Promotions with customers for key seasons and events.
- Ensure timely submission and settlement of claims.
- Hunter with ambitious growth focus (70% hunting, 30% farming).
- Fast adopter of contemporary technology, proficient in MS Office, Power BI, and Excel.
- Entrepreneurial, proactively creating mutually beneficial solutions for UFS and customers.
- Curious, continually learning from the market to stay ahead of food trends.
- Skilled in selling premium brands with superior selling stories and culinary solutions.
- Bilingual is a plus (Spanish, Mandarin).
- CPG Food service Sales Experience (B2B Sales).
- Culinary/Chef Selling Experience.
- Network of Existing Food service Operator Partners.
- Distributor Sales, Ingredient Sales, or Broker Sales.
- Experience with CRM (Salesforce).
- Operator Experience.
- Market/Geographical Knowledge.
- Food University Background (CIA, Food & Hospitality).
- Multi‑National Corporate Company Experience – understands corporate ways of working.
