What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Grow assigned account base and market share for the employer
  • Conduct sales planning and forecasting while establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Analyze customer needs to identify and expedite solutions for customer problems
  • Keep customers informed about new services or products
  • Provide timely reporting of business operations including sales and expense reports
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the book industry or a related field
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Teams
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience working with wholesale within the book industry
  • Familiarity with market analysis and reporting
  • Previous experience in a sales role focused on client relationship management
  • Understanding of digital and physical book distribution processes
  • Knowledge of current trends in the book industry
