Position: Account Executive II - Cloud Managed Services (RapidScale)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  • Develop and manage a new sales pipeline for cloud operations and consulting services
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, leveraging a competitive commission plan
  • Build and maintain a robust enterprise pipeline, ensuring a 5:1 funnel-to-quota ratio
  • Foster relationships within the AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud ecosystems to drive new business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and lead contract negotiations

What is Required (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of sales experience, or a Master’s degree with 4 years of experience, or a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience, or 10 years of relevant experience without a degree
  • Proven success in building a sales pipeline through outbound activities and closing complex IT or cloud deals
  • Experience selling IT, cloud, or managed services solutions to decision-makers at various levels
  • Familiarity with both channel and direct sales environments
  • Willingness to travel 25–50% of the time for customer meetings and events

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Relevant certifications such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience leveraging AWS and/or GCP partner programs for business development
  • Industry expertise in Healthcare, Financial Services, SaaS, or E-Commerce
