- Conduct technical and competitive landscape research to effectively address customer inquiries
- Educate sales executives and partners on the employer's products, platform, and security features
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in sales engineering
- Experience supporting Public Sector / SLED customers
- Technical background in messaging and Internet security principles
- Strong understanding of Internet protocols (HTTP, SMTP, DNS, etc.) and networking topology
- BSCS/BSEE or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience in selling software to Fortune 500 companies
- Strong technical presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or similar
