We are hiring a Product Marketing Manager to support our Active Trader business. To succeed in this role, you need to be an active trader yourself
, with a deep understanding of markets, strategies, and what motivates this highly engaged segment. Your lived experience will be essential in shaping GTM strategies, campaigns, and content that resonate authentically with traders in 2026 and beyond.

About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and client-obsessed Product Marketing Manager to help grow our Active Trader business. In this role, you'll turn product innovations into compelling narratives, campaigns, and go-to-market strategies that resonate with traders who expect speed, transparency, and advanced capabilities.

You’ll be responsible for deeply understanding our clients, market trends, and competitive landscape—and translating those insights into positioning, messaging, and campaigns that drive engagement, adoption, and trust. Working closely with the Product Marketing leadership and cross‑functional teams and their leaders (Product, Growth, Sales, Brand, UX, Data Science, and more), you’ll lead the success of major product launches and trader-focused initiatives end-to-end.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re excited to manage executional details while thinking strategically about scaling products, challenging assumptions, and driving long‑term impact in the active trading segment.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
  • Drive top-of-funnel growth for Active Traders: Collaborate closely with Sales and Growth in the Active Trader Growth Pod to design and scale acquisition strategies that increase qualified trader leads. You’ll help shape incentive frameworks, influence paid and partnership strategies, and connect GTM narratives to measurable growth. While reporting into PMM leadership, this role includes a dotted-line relationship to Sales leadership to maximize impact and exposure.
  • Lead Go‑To‑Market initiatives for trader products: Own GTM execution, ensuring messaging is on point, campaigns run smoothly across stakeholders, and results are tracked and analyzed.
  • Drive trader insights: Use your personal trading experience, client research, and internal data to uncover growth opportunities, advocate for trader needs and product roadmap priorities and champion marketing strategies that best resonate with this segment.
  • Shape positioning & content: Translate complex trading products into clear, compelling narratives for traders, helping the business stand out in a competitive market.
  • Run experiments and test ideas: Design and execute small-scale experiments to explore product or marketing optimizations, using results to influence bigger bets.
  • Stay ahead of market trends: Monitor the trading ecosystem, competitor offerings, regulations, and emerging opportunities to ensure Wealthsimple is at the forefront of innovation.
  • Leverage AI to supercharge marketing: Use AI tools to extract insights, streamline processes, and enhance the impact and reach of campaigns.
What you’ll bring:
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in hyper‑growth technology organizations
  • Active trading experience: You actively trade stocks, options, crypto, or other instruments and understand the behaviors, tools, and motivations of high‑frequency traders
