Our Newest Opportunity:

The Employee Benefits Strategy Trainer is responsible for equipping producers and consultants with high-level strategic capabilities that go beyond sales coaching. This includes deep expertise in cost containment, funding optimization, and strategic plan design, as well as the ability to translate complex benefits strategies into actionable learning experiences.

The trainer will lead initiatives that support prospect-facing strategy enablement, leveraging tools like Impact Studio, and other EB specific technology and resources to prepare producers for high-stakes engagements. This role is designed for a seasoned benefits strategist who can elevate consulting capabilities across the organization and serve as a strategic partner to producers.

This role blends coaching, training, and strategic development to elevate sales performance, client engagement, and operational excellence through foundation to advanced knowledge of employee benefits. Trainers leverage their firsthand experience in benefits consulting or sales to deliver practical, high-impact learning experiences. The ideal candidate is a seasoned producer or consultant with thought leadership and deep expertise in advanced benefits solutions and a passion for developing others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Employee Benefits Training Program Design
  • Develop comprehensive learning journeys for producers and consultants across all levels—from foundational product knowledge to advanced strategic consulting.
  • Integrate employee benefits-specific tools and enablement resources into training, with a focus on advanced strategies such as cost containment and funding mechanisms.
Multi-Modal Content Delivery
  • Build and deliver content through on-demand modules, live workshops (e.g., Growth Academy), and personalized coaching sessions tailored to diverse learning styles and experience levels.
Strategic Enablement for Producers and Consultants
  • Coach producers on leveraging the available technology and tools to identify cross-practice convergence opportunities, interpret AI-driven insights, and present strategic solutions aligned with One Digital’s value proposition.
  • Facilitate workshops and office hours focused on client-facing applications of strategic tools, including cost lever training and prospect engagement strategies.
  • Support producers in preparing for high-stakes prospect meetings.
Data-Driven Insights
  • Analyze performance data and feedback to refine training programs and measure impact on producer effectiveness and client outcomes.
Industry Expertise
  • Stay current on trends in employee benefits, compliance, funding models, and client expectations to ensure training remains relevant and forward-looking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with marketing, product, analytics, and sales teams to align training with evolving market demands and internal growth goals.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
  • Flexible, but structured, approach to building training curriculums that incorporate adult learning theory.
  • Detail oriented and process driven.
  • Deep understanding of funding mechanisms, compliance, and vendor ecosystems.
