Job DescriptionGDIT's Federal Health team is hiring a dynamic and experienced Vendor Partner Manager to join our team and drive strategic partnerships.
The Vendor Partner Manager serves as GDIT’s primary interface for managing and coordinating external partners in support of the IHS Healthcare IT Modernization (HITMOD) Program. This role is responsible for ensuring that all technology vendors, subcontractors, and government‑approved solution providers are fully aligned with GDIT delivery objectives, IHS mission priorities, contractual requirements, and program milestones.
The Vendor Partner Manager plays a critical role in enabling integrated delivery, operational alignment, risk mitigation, and innovation across a complex, multi‑vendor healthcare IT modernization environment supporting IHS facilities and communities.

5. This investigation will review personal and criminal behavior, financial conduct, foreign influence, as well as other adjudications.
- Propose a partner engagement strategy for approval, aligned with GDIT program delivery objectives, HITMOD modernization roadmaps, and IHS priorities, and provide regular progress updates on its implementation to program leadership
- Identify and prioritize potential partners based on strategic alignment, market opportunity, and potential impact on program objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, technology vendors, and industry associations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure successful integration and implementation of our solutions.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, customer satisfaction, and program impact, to inform decision-making and optimize partner relationships.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes related to healthcare IT, and leverage insights to shape partner strategies and initiatives.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the organization and identify partnership opportunities.
- Support Task Order Managers in operational execution of requirements and deliverables and provide feedback on performance to ensure requirements are met.
- Track and provide support on PRs and PO modifications.
- Monitor and support the management of partner performance against SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations.
- Proactively identify, elevate, and mitigate risks related to partner delivery, staffing, quality, schedule, and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in partner management, program management, or client delivery supporting large-scale IT or healthcare IT programs.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi‑vendor ecosystems within federal, regulated, or mission‑critical environments.
- Strong understanding of healthcare IT modernization, including EHRs, interoperability, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across government, prime contractors, and industry partners.
- Proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships, driving revenue growth, and exceeding performance targets.
- Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, including electronic health records (EHR), health information exchange (HIE), telemedicine, and interoperability standards.
- Ability to supervise others.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
