- Oversee day-to-day operations and advanced administration of cloud database services, including Amazon RDS and Mongo
DB Atlas - Implement and refine database standards, automation, and operational runbooks for performance and compliance
- Collaborate with engineering teams on schema design, indexing strategies, and data lifecycle management
- Design and maintain automation for database provisioning, patching, backups, and monitoring
- Participate in on-call rotations for production database incidents, leading technical response for critical events
- Minimum 9 years of hands‑on experience as a Database Administrator
- Extensive experience operating production workloads on Amazon RDS, Mongo
DB Atlas, and Microsoft SQL Server - Proven expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting complex database issues
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code and automation tools, including Terraform and Cloud Formation
- Demonstrated experience in 24x7 operations and incident management
- Hands‑on experience with database schema change management tools (Liquibase or equivalent) in CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
