Biomedical Technician​/Equipment Support Specialist – Information Systems; Medical Device Cybers

• Maintain and integrate computer‑based medical equipment connected to hospital networks and clinical information systems
• Troubleshoot connectivity and interface issues for networked medical devices
• Support vulnerability and patch management efforts to ensure cybersecurity compliance
• Assist with inventory accuracy for medical equipment and ensure alignment with cybersecurity requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the safe operation of medical technology

• 3+ years of hospital or healthcare experience performing medical equipment maintenance, including 1 year of specialized experience in medical information systems and networking
• A two‑year associate degree or higher in applied science or equivalent military training
• Demonstrated skill in communicating and collaborating with key stakeholders in a healthcare organization
• Current knowledge of computer virus protection software, information security tools, and networking theory
• Experience with TCP/IP, HL7, networking, and DICOM standards, as well as troubleshooting networked medical equipment

• Familiarity with regulatory agency requirements and International Standard Organization standards
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical literature, schematics, and drawings
