Writer - Marketing IV

Our Client, a Software company, is looking for a Writer - Marketing IV for their Remote location.

• Design and maintain scalable workflows across Slack, Google Workspace, and Client-owned tools
• Support channel strategy, standards, and usage guidance to improve signal quality and employee experience
• Build and maintain operational frameworks, including editorial calendars, intake workflows, production trackers, messaging templates, and process documentation
• Improve cross-team handoffs by clarifying roles, timelines, and execution expectations
• AI-enabled tooling and automation
• Identify and prototype AI-enabled and agent-based workflows within approved enterprise platforms
• Support the integration of automation into existing communications processes to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency
• Contribute to the development of a practical roadmap for communications tooling and workflow enhancements
• Translate operational needs into executable solutions within existing systems

• Draft, edit, and refine internal communications across Slack, internal email, executive updates, and program communications
• Apply strong copywriting and editorial judgment to ensure messaging is clear, engaging, and aligned to established voice and style
• Contribute to decisions about content formats and distribution approaches, including exploration of media, video, Slack apps, and emerging internal channels
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure content supports strategic goals and resonates with internal audiences

• Build structure around existing data sources to enable consistent reporting and performance visibility
• Maintain dashboards and reporting views focused on engagement, reach, and operational effectiveness
• Analyze trends and performance data to support insights and recommendations for optimization
• Support ongoing improvements to measurement approaches without over engineering

• 5-7+ years of experience in internal communications, communications operations, marketing operations, or a related field
• Deep, Hands-On Slack
  
  Experience:
  
  Comfortable building and managing channels, workflows, app integrations, governance standards, and execution within enterprise Slack environments.
• Strong copywriting and editorial judgment:
  Able to draft clear, concise, high-impact internal communications across Slack and email without heavy rewriting.
• Operational systems thinking:
  Experience building and maintaining structured workflows such as intake models, production trackers, editorial calendars, and process documentation.
• Cross-functional project execution:
  Demonstrated ability to work across matrixed teams, manage multiple work streams, and move projects forward without constant oversight.
• Analytical fluency:
  Comfortable working in Google Sheets, organizing data, and translating performance metrics into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows and automation tools within enterprise environments
• Experience piloting new content formats such as internal video, Slack apps, or emerging internal distribution channels
• Building lightweight reporting dashboards and structured performance views
• Evolving channel usage standards and governance models
• Developing documentation that enables repeatability and scale
• Prior experience working at Client
• Experience supporting internal communications for large-scale events or global portfolios
• Exposure to marketing operations or content operations frameworks
• Familiarity with Client-owned platforms beyond Slack
• Experience operating in highly visible or executive-facing communication environments
