• Design and guide application architectures built on SAS Viya solutions, ensuring integration with third‑party services and systems
• Establish engineering patterns and reference implementations for consistent development and operation of custom solution workloads
• Collaborate with consulting and customer delivery teams to implement solution architectures effectively
• Define best practices for application configuration, deployment workflows, and lifecycle management in cloud‑native environments
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance SAS solution capabilities and customer outcomes

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in technical architecture, application engineering, or solution integration roles
• Hands‑on experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices‑based applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

• Experience with SAS Viya, analytics platforms, or large‑scale data processing environments
• Familiarity with Agile development and Scrum Product Owner practices
• Background in customer success, developer relations, or platform enablement
