• Serve as the technical authority and primary technical decision partner throughout enterprise sales cycles
• Lead architecture-level conversations with security, email, and identity teams
• Conduct technical discovery to uncover risk and customer requirements
• Articulate the limitations of legacy secure email gateways against modern threats
• Educate sales executives and partners on the employer’s products and security posture

• 3+ years of Sales Engineering experience or relevant industry experience
• Proven ability to lead technical discovery and architecture discussions with security and compliance teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical presentations
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced sales environment
• Solid technical understanding of SaaS security models and enterprise networking concepts

• Experience with enterprise email security platforms (e.g., Proofpoint, Mimecast)
• Technical background in messaging and internet security principles
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange Online or Google Workspace
• Familiarity with email authentication methods (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
• Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, or equivalent)
