Analyst, Power Planning

• Build and maintain power forecast models using Excel and Power BI for data center planning
• Track actual versus forecasted MW consumption and analyze variances across campuses
• Conduct quantitative analysis and modeling to support resource planning and investment decisions
• Research and present power and energy market forecasts, providing technical justification for planning recommendations
• Synthesize complex datasets into clear dashboards and reports for stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, economics, finance, or data analytics;
  Master’s degree preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in energy, power planning, or related roles within utility or consulting sectors
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Power BI or similar tools
• Understanding of power systems concepts including MW capacity and load ramps
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience supporting data centers or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation
• Familiarity with energy market dynamics and regulatory environments
