Job Summary
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Application Security Engineer to join our growing security team. This role is highly technical and candidates must possess a solid understanding of the security and privacy of our company’s applications and data.
Responsibilities- Conduct security assessments using SAST and DAST tools and analyze results to identify vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security throughout the SDLC.
- Design and implement secure coding practices, threat modeling, and secure software development guidelines.
- Investigate application security incidents and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintain security documentation and provide subject‑matter expertise on policies and standards.
- Support other assigned duties as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years in application security, including OWASP, SAST, DAST, SCA, RASP, and secure coding practices.
- Minimum 7 years in security engineering or software development.
- Experience with web application security, threat modeling, and secure SDLC methodologies.
- Experience with system integration, CI/CD, Dev Ops, and WAF or similar infrastructure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Independent and team‑player with strong time‑management and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in one programming language (Python, .NET, JavaScript) and one scripting language (Power Shell, Bash).
- Expert knowledge of NIST, PCI, ISO 27001, SOC, SOX, CCPA, GDPR, and global regulations.
- Expert CI/CD experience with Azure Dev Ops, Terraform, or similar automation tools.
- Preferred: CISSP, OSCP, CASE, or other industry‑leading certifications.
