What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Serve as the primary technical authority and decision partner in enterprise sales cycles, overseeing Proof of Value (POV) outcomes
  • Lead architecture-level discussions with security, email, and identity teams
  • Conduct technical discovery to identify risks and customer requirements
  • Perform competitive landscape research to address customer inquiries effectively
  • Educate sales executives and partners on the employer's products and security posture
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • 5+ years of Sales Engineering experience or relevant industry experience
  • Proven ability to lead technical discovery and architecture discussions with security and compliance teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in technical presentations
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Enterprise sales environment
  • Solid technical understanding of SaaS security models and enterprise networking concepts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience with enterprise email security platforms (e.g., Proofpoint, Mimecast)
  • Technical background in messaging and internet security principles
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange Online / Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
  • Knowledge of email authentication methods (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and their failure modes
  • Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, or equivalent) for credibility with enterprise buyers
