Position: Associate Director, Biostatistics (Central Statistical Monitoring)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Lead the Central Statistical Monitoring (CSM) team to support risk-based quality management (RBQM) initiatives
  • Develop, validate, and operationalize statistical monitoring indicators and models for clinical studies
  • Implement signal detection processes and characterize signals for prioritization and communication
  • Produce tiered deliverables for various stakeholders, translating statistical findings into actionable insights
  • Conduct training for clinical monitors and study teams on CSM outputs and required actions
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Master's degree with 6 years' experience or Ph.D. with 4 years' experience in biostatistics/statistics or related quantitative field
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical trial statistics and risk-based quality management (RBQM)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with model lifecycle management, validation, and documentation for audits/inspections
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerBI
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in signal triage and statistical monitoring in clinical trials
  • Proven ability to foster teamwork and promote a risk-based mindset within organizations
  • Familiarity with developing training modules for clinical and operational teams
