The Head of Justice Strategy is responsible for the day‑to‑day leadership and execution of the Justice sector strategy, working in close partnership with the Director of Justice & Health. The role ensures that strategic priorities are translated into clear delivery plans, coordinated activity, and measurable outcomes, while continuously using customer, market, and delivery insight to inform the evolving direction of the sector.
Acting as a senior Justice ambassador, the postholder supports strong customer relationships, enables sustainable growth, and helps build long‑term sector capability across the organisation.
- Support the ongoing shaping and refinement of the Justice sector strategy, using insight from customers, delivery activity, market trends, and policy developments.
- Support sector growth and revenue by helping to execute the strategy and contributing insights to client opportunities alongside the Director.
- Translate strategic priorities into clear delivery roadmaps, initiatives, and proposition focus areas.
- Lead the day‑to‑day coordination of strategy execution, ensuring activity across sales, delivery, and operational teams remains aligned to agreed priorities.
- Commission, coordinate, and oversee delivery packages and initiatives that support strategy execution and customer success.
- Put in place effective planning, governance, and performance tracking, managing risks, dependencies, and benefits realisation.
- Act as a senior Justice sector representative with customers, partners, and stakeholders, supporting long‑term relationship development and high satisfaction levels.
- Contribute to strategic bids, account planning, and partner development, using sector insight to shape compelling propositions.
- Provide day‑to‑day leadership and direction to the Justice strategy team and lead through influence across wider matrixed teams.
- Support the development of Justice capability, thought leadership, and knowledge‑sharing across the organisation.
- Strong experience working within the Justice system, wider public sector, or regulated environments.
- Proven ability to support and execute complex strategies in fast‑moving, multi‑stakeholder settings.
- Experience coordinating activity across sales, delivery, product, and operational teams in a matrixed organisation.
- Credibility with senior customers, partners, and external stakeholders.
- Strong delivery focus, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, priorities, and risks.
- Commercial awareness with experience contributing to bids, pipelines, and growth activity.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate strategy into clear, actionable plans.
- Experience providing direct and indirect leadership, coaching, and influence.
- Justice strategy is consistently executed against agreed priorities, with clear delivery plans, governance, and progress tracking in place.
- Strategy is continuously informed by customer insight, market learning, and delivery performance.
- Delivery packages and initiatives are successfully mobilised and achieving intended outcomes.
- High and improving customer satisfaction across Justice accounts.
- Strong cross‑functional alignment between strategy, sales, delivery, and operations.
- A highly engaged, credible Justice strategy team with growing sector capability and influence.
- Clear contribution to a healthy, high‑quality Justice sales pipeline in support of sector growth.
- Contribute to the execution of the sector strategy and support the progression of growth opportunities.
