• Design, build, and maintain internal tools and automation scripts using Python
• Build and monitor data pipelines (ETL) to ensure accurate data flow between systems
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and validation
• Serve as a technical escalation point for data anomalies and system bugs
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering teams to align tools with business requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field
• 1–2 years of experience in a technical role (e.g., Junior Data & Tools Engineer, Data Analyst, Support Engineer, or Junior Developer)
• Strong proficiency in SQL for writing complex queries and data analysis
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, or API interaction
• Familiarity with ETL concepts; exposure to orchestration tools like Airflow is a significant plus

• Portfolio or Git Hub examples of personal projects are highly valued
• Knowledge of web frameworks such as Django or Flask is a strong plus
• Familiarity with legacy tools like Retool is helpful for understanding previous builds
• Experience with JIRA and agile workflows
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a "detective" mindset
