What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Own the full freelance recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, and managing offers/contracts
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding workflows for freelancers and external partners
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies to maintain a pipeline of top freelance talent
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools and universities to attract aspiring designers and engineers
  • Track and optimize vendor utilization, performance trends, and satisfaction metrics
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment, vendor management, or operations, ideally within an agency environment
  • Proven success in hiring or managing freelance talent in Design, Engineering, or related fields
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong judgment balancing speed, quality, cost, and long-term relationship impact
  • Familiarity with freelance contracts, rate cards, and vendor agreements, or a willingness to learn quickly

  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Understanding of the design and development process
  • Operational rigor to manage multiple moving parts while maintaining high-quality experiences
  • A good eye for design and talent quality
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition and Resource Management
