What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Lead and manage a team of Patient Engagement Specialists to ensure timely and accurate prior authorization and financial assistance support for patients
  • Proactively manage support in assigned hospitals and clinics to ensure patients receive medications on time
  • Oversee team performance to meet service level goals and deliver high-quality patient care
  • Conduct audits and manage workflows to enhance operational efficiency
  • Facilitate training, coaching, and performance management for team members
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Must be a registered pharmacy technician with national certification (CPhT)
  • Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy technician experience; 3-5 years in Specialty Pharmacy preferred
  • Strong leadership experience, preferably in a regional or supervisory role
  • High School diploma or GED required;
    Bachelor’s degree preferred or actively pursuing one
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Training in leadership and management theory with practical applications
  • Experience using Pharmacy dispensing or EMR systems, particularly Willow, Qs1, and RX30
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and graph creation
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage projects to completion
  • Previous experience in a patient-centered healthcare environment
