Applications Support Analyst

Overview

Employer Industry: Healthcare Services

• Provide end-user support for Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically Homecare Homebase
• Respond to inquiries regarding errors and problems, documenting and resolving issues in a timely manner
• Create and maintain user documentation and functional training materials
• Assist with the installation of software upgrades and test enhancements provided by the software vendor
• Train end users in both classroom and web-based environments

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Two (2) to five (5) years of related experience preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• Experience in healthcare and clinical billing systems preferred
• Knowledge of application support and end-user support in vendor applications preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Crystal reporting tools

• Experience working in a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with Cerner and other healthcare applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to articulate and embrace hospice philosophy
• Knowledge of LAN and WAN environments
