Join Our Team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner – Orthopedic Surgery in Coos Bay, OR

Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with Orthopedic or related specialization
- Proven experience in orthopedic procedures, diagnosis, and patient management
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems for documentation and care coordination
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to respond effectively to emergent situations and stressful environments
Skills:
- Familiarity with advanced diagnostic imaging (EMG, MRI, CT, Bone Scans)
- Experience participating in surgical assist roles or first assisting
- Knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures and outpatient surgical care
- Prior experience in emergency department settings
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic care or surgical settings
- Prior locum or temporary assignment experience is advantageous
- Ability to participate in 24/7 call rotations including weekends, holidays, and nights
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
- Willingness to commit to the scheduled start date and flexible schedule to support coverage needs
- Travel, licensure, certification, and applicable reimbursement considerations
Hourly Rate: $134.00
