• Design and implement the patient access program strategy, including workflows and key performance metrics
• Manage a personal caseload of patients requiring reimbursement support, including benefit investigations and prior authorization requests
• Collaborate with various teams to streamline workflows and resolve access issues
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and maintain accurate records for all patient interactions
• Develop training materials and knowledge resources related to wound care coding and payer policies

• Minimum 5 years of experience in patient access, reimbursement support, or medical billing/coding
• Direct experience with wound care or related therapeutic areas
• Demonstrated expertise in prior authorizations and appeals
• Strong working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer policies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred

• Experience building or scaling a patient access program or reimbursement team
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
• Familiarity with case management platforms
• Background in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturer patient services
