(Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and interpret legislation and regulations related to Mental Health Parity, communicating impacts to the business
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Mental Health Parity, attending cross-functional meetings and leading discussions
- Oversee the preparation of Mental Health Parity Nonquantitative Treatment Limitations (NQTL) Comparative Analyses documentation
- Create and audit filing documentation for compliance with federal and state Mental Health Parity laws
- Lead onboarding and training initiatives for new employees and analysts in the department
- Bachelor's Degree in business, Communications, Health Care, Political Science/Pre-Law, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in health insurance, legal, or compliance-related areas
- Knowledge of Mental Health Parity laws and experience with SERFF preferred
- Experience in commercial health insurance and/or behavioral health managed care preferred
- Experience in developing and auditing policy documentation and/or QHP filing templates preferred
- Master's Degree in a related field or Juris Prudence
- Familiarity with Mental Health Parity law(s) and regulatory compliance
- Additional experience in policy advocacy and regulatory research
