What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Create accountability for collection efforts and procedures for Executive Directors and Revenue Cycle Portfolio Leaders
  • Provide coverage for cash posters during short-term or unexpected absences
  • Partner with cluster Executive Directors and/or Revenue Cycle Portfolio Leaders to train Cash Posters
  • Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of payor contracts and government billing regulations
  • Review, research, and post various types of funds daily while preparing cash reports and reconciling accounts
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • At least three years of experience in healthcare billing and collections management, preferably in home health and/or hospice operations
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills
  • Capability to manage detailed information accurately
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, peers, service center personnel, referral sources, and payers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in a leadership role within healthcare billing and collections
  • Familiarity with automated payment systems and handling exceptions
  • Advanced knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
  • Proven track record of successful collaboration with diverse teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies efficiently
