Patient Outreach Specialist Pharmacy Technician

• Opportunity to become nationally certified PTCB or ExCPT within 6 months of hire via employer classes
• Flexible shift times with potential for occasional Saturday hours

• Engage directly with patients to provide superior pharmacy care

• Make outbound calls to eligible patients to enroll them in the employer’s pharmacy program
• Educate patients on the services offered by the employer’s Specialty Pharmacy Program
• Review patient EMRs prior to calls to ensure familiarity with their conditions
• Identify medications and supplies requiring special handling or storage
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Must have an active pharmacy license for the state of Florida
• Minimum educational requirement:
  High School Diploma or GED
• 0-1 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or related experience
• Strong verbal communication and phone skills
• Ability to work effectively in an independent environment with a focus on patient advocacy

• Nationally certified from PTCB or equivalent is strongly preferred but not required
• Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred
• Prior customer service or outbound call experience
