Field Sales NON Bank Mortgage Loan Originator

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned non-bank territory, conducting preliminary underwriting reviews
• Take applications and submit loan applications for processing and underwriting approval
• Follow up to secure required documents for processing, underwriting, and closing in a timely manner
• Engage in making and soliciting loan sales and conducting sales-related activities away from employer locations
• Maintain compliance with National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year of experience in mortgage, sales, real estate, or banking
• Ability to travel as needed
• Strong understanding of mortgage insurance pricing and underwriting requirements
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Established referral base within the assigned market
• Basic knowledge of local, state, and national laws related to mortgage and real estate
• Ability to analyze financial information
• Well-developed sales ability and experience in real estate brokerage
• Ability to work independently
