Senior Reimbursement Analyst

• Perform third-party reimbursement services and communicate with various departments
• Prepare reimbursement templates, analyze and reconcile third-party accounts, and prepare monthly closing analyses
• Gather data for Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and other required filings
• Work with third-party auditors to coordinate the information requested
• Conduct reimbursement research and provide support to management and other departments

• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or business administration with a concentration in finance/accounting
• Minimum of five years of accounting or finance work experience, with at least three years in reimbursement
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in personal computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet software
• Certified public accountant license preferred

• Experience with third-party intermediaries or hospitals
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations
• Previous experience in training or mentoring staff
• Advanced analytical skills
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards
